Overview

The HP Pavilion tx2000z is ultraportable tablet notebook at 4.3 lb1 packed with features. It has a 12.1" (diagonal) high-definition touch screen, and it optimizes handwriting capture: you simply write on it with a dockable/rechargeable eraser pen (no batteries needed). In addition, the screen twists for easy viewing of documents and movies in cramped spaces.

The HP Pavilion tx2000z is equipped with powerful AMD Turion 64 X2 dual-core processors with HyperTransport technology, which improves system performance when running multiple applications. These processors also supply enhanced virus protection as well as PowerNow! for longer battery life.

The HP Pavilion tx2000z supports a hard drive of up to 250GB—plenty of room to store photos, music, and video. A CD/DVD burner is standard, with optional HP LightScribe for laser-etching your own disc labels.

Better than last year's model

I like the dual-mode active pen and touch screen. The battery life is good although it's kinda bulky. The best feature I like here is it's a tablet and a notebook. Just rotate the screen and it's comfortable to write. Highly recommended!
